IKC Good Citizen Dog Scheme January 2012 03/02/2012
Congratulations to ... Toby and Brigit Kossack Evey and Moya O'Kennedy Ziggy and Olivia McGovern Roxy and Sheila Smith Ashindie and Kathryn Hennigan Wigan and Carol Cronin Darcy and Sarah Glass Day was good! And although weather was brutal it didn't dampen any spirits. Thanks to Dave who brought all the ladies and dogs on a long walk before the exam so everyone's nerves had well and truly settled. Mark O'Brian was great, put everyone at ease and Pauline was his helper with Solo being the 'distraction' dog. All passed with flying colours everyone went home happy if a little sodden! In conjunction with the Irish Kennel Club, WTCI is hosting a Good Citizen Assessment day 29th January at the club grounds in Tymon Park at 12 o'clock. Limited places available .......  We are looking forward to welcoming Jackie Clarke to judge our summer agility show on Sunday. Park gates will open @ 8 am and first class starts @ 9 am. We are hoping for continuing good weather :-) . 94 dogs are entered so we have a jammed packed day ahead of us. Individual class entries are all up aswell lots of competitive fun. We hope everyone enjoys their day. Today is the closing date for our upcoming agility show - please remember you need to have your dog registered with the Irish Kennel Club and offically measured by IKC representatives prior to entering your first competition.
