We were blessed with a glorious sunny day for our annual fun demo day. This event has become an important part of our calendar over the last few years . Dogsaid was on hand to link with friends old and new. Some of their dogs currently awaiting adoption were also on hand to meet and greet. Mark was present in his usual capacity of our colourful commentator whose good-humored banter kept us all up-to-date with the days proceedings. John from Black Blur Photography was taking dog portrait shots and they can be viewed via his website click here
Huge thanks goes to everyone who came along on the day. We hope you enjoyed the day's activities . Many thanks also must be extended to those that helped make the day happen whether you were building marquee's , making tea or one of the display teams. with out you all things days could never happen - well done
Sinead our chief organiser on the day has the following words for us !
This was my second year to looking after the WTCI DEMO Day,
The plan for the day is to show people what the club is about. It’s a great way to see what all the different dog sports available with our club are about, from Competitive Obedience to pet obedience. We had great display of both, and let’s not forget the work trials. This year was a first with our children’s obedience display. It was really good to see all the new people out with the dogs having a good time, and trying their hands at thier first competion in Agility in a fun environment. Hopefully we will see them at some of the shows from now on.
Everybody had a fun day, and the dogs all went home with a wag in thier tail. Till next year,. Sinead
'I loved doing the children's display and watching the agility. I can't wait to see my photos with Toby. It was a great day' Molly Tuite
