Happy Training Tips & Guidelines

The obedience classes start at 10.45am till 11.45am
We recommend that you get there for 10.30am, bring your dogs for a walk so they can get a chance to have a sniff around & do what dog's do best!
As you can see below, we work on a reward basis, try not to feed your dog on the morning of class (remember they will be getting a tasty breakie during class with all the treats you have!)
Dogs to be kept on lead at all times.
Crate Agility only The more hands helping, the sooner classes start, & the more training you will get
Normal Collar & Lead:No retractable lead. No choke chains. No chain Lead
Treats:Small pieces of chicken / sausage / cheese / liver or a favourite food your dog especially likes. Keep treats in easy reach, a small bag in your pocket or a special treat bag that can be bought in most pet shops.
Toys:Keep your dog’s favourite toy for class & times you play together. Squeaky toys work better with dogs that prefer toys to food
Poo Bags It is very important we pick up after our dogs, as it helps keep our parks clean & can also cause a distraction to other working dogs
For your comfort Please dress appropriately as you spend a long time standing around & bending down to your dog

Remember.......
“We train in all weather”
